Useful for

Common planning tasks

  • Preflight before shipment calculations
  • Checking vendor packing lists
  • Finding blank or invalid numeric fields

Model boundary

Assumptions

  • The first row contains headers.
  • Required headers are description, quantity, length, width, height, weight, dimensions_unit, and weight_unit.
  • Supported dimension units are mm, cm, m, in, ft; weight units are g, kg, lb.

Operational caution

Limitations

  • Validation does not prove that values are true, that units are intended, or that a packing list meets a carrier/customs format.
  • The tool reports issues but never repairs or overwrites the source file.

Questions and answers

Is my CSV uploaded?

No. The selected file is read and validated by JavaScript in your browser; this site has no upload endpoint.

What CSV quoting is supported?

Comma-delimited fields, quoted commas, and doubled quote characters are supported.

Does a valid result mean the shipment data is correct?

No. It means the checked structure and values passed these rules, not that the underlying facts are accurate.
